Default Eminem Concerts

The great news about today’s rocking star Eminem’s album Recovery has gone platinum in the US in less than two weeks selling over 1 million copies. The record is at number one on the Billboard chart having sold a further 300,000 units over the last seven days. There is no doubt that the rocking star comfortably beat his nearest challenger Drake’s Thank Me Later album, which made it to two. This weekend The legendary icon Eminem has been urged to sing The Proclaimers hit 'I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)' when he headlines T in the Park in Scotland. The song topped a poll of tracks fans would most like the rapper to cover at the festival and it gets under way tomorrow July 9. Eminem is set to top the bill at the festival alongside Muse and Kasabian. After ruling Billboard Hot 200 with "Relapse" in 2009, he once again sits at No. 1 position on the chart, making it his sixth straight No. 1 debut. This time around he makes it to the top with his album "Recovery" and has sold around 741,000 copies in its first week. "Recovery" becomes the biggest chart debut since AC/DC's "Black Ice" arrived on the chart with 784,000 in October 2008. The album also has claimed number ones in Ireland, Switzerland, Austria and Denmark and number two debuts in Germany, France and Norway to beat Miley Cyrus' Can't Be Tamed to the top of the continent's overall chart.

The 37-year-old rapper Eminem has won 11 Grammy awards has received extraordinary success with his latest tracks and has been recently ranked by Rolling Stone magazine as one of the 'Greatest Artists of All-Time'. The legendary icon Eminem has just landed in Switzerland for the first date in his European tour before his much anticipated OXEGEN performance this Sunday. He is playing Frauenfeld Open Air in Zurich on Friday then Scotland’s T in The Park on Saturday before headlining OXEGEN on Sunday, Celebrating two weeks at the top of the album charts with his latest release ‘Recovery’. There is no doubt that Eminem is one of the defining artists of the last decade and he is now sold over 75 million albums worldwide. He will make his OXEGEN debut headlining the Main Stage on Sunday.

The rocking Eminem hated his first stint in rehab as he was pestered by fans that stole his possessions and asked for autographs. "People at rehab were stealing my hats and pens and notebooks and asking for autographs. I couldn't concentrate on my problem," said the great star. He admits his first stint in rehab failed because he couldn't "concentrate" on recovering as he was surrounded by followers who all wanted some time with the superstar. "I felt like I was Bugs Bunny in rehab. When Bugs Bunny walks into rehab, people are going to turn and look. Hip-hop heavyweights Jay-Z and Eminem had the strongest debut of the month with a fourth place finish in the rankings. High demand for tickets caused the couple to expand their co-headlining tour from two nights to four, playing hometown shows in Detroit on September 2-3 and New York City on September 13-14. Buy cheap Eminem tickets to enjoy his shows live.
