DENVER -- Pro football entry of Famer Stan Jones, a show up for the Chicago Bears in the 1950s and '60s and a leader of weight preparation in the cheap NFL jerseys has died. He was 78.Mr. Jones died Friday nighttime at his daughter's home in Broomfield, Colo., of complication of heart illness. She said her father also was battling hide growth.Mr. Jones, who was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1991, also exhausted more than two decades education in the NFL, counting 18 seasons with the Denver Broncos.Born in Altoona, Pa., on Nov. 24, 1931, Mr. Jones grew up in the Harrisburg area, where he was introduced to the York Barbell Co.'s weights, which he used to change himself from a skinny 140-pound boy into a lineman who crowded 265 pounds on his 6-foot-1 frame.
