Lets be real. All these comic book series are garbage. Daredevil is no different. It's the exact same cheesy quality.

Let HBO do a superhero series.

It wouldn't make sense for HBO to do a superhero series unless they lock in a deal like Netflix.. DC Comics for example (Batman, Arrow, Superman, Flash, etc) is owned by Warner Bros, which is owned by Time Warner, who owns the FOX Network/CW/WB...all of those heroes would get their shows on CW like Arrow/Flash or FOX like Gotham

& I love Arrow. doesnt mean it doesnt have corny ass acting though. dont remember saying I hated it in my post, just that it has corny ass acting

honestly its Netflix shit should be miles ahead of Flash and Arrow and its not… its more serious in a sense but i still enjoy Flash the most… the producers throw in tons of easter eggs for fans an thats what makes it so good

really? I think the shit is miles ahead of Arrow & Flash...not only in the acting but in the production...idk about the storyline..but the other 2, they don't even come close. Arrow is just shitty acting throughout... Flash is a little step above in the acting but with great special effects and you can just tell it has a higher budget than Arrow

I think the thing is that the DC Universe...at least for Flash, its super villains and shit with all kinds of crazy powers. with Daredevil its like Arrow or Gotham where its jus a bunch of crime families and weirdos and hand-to-hand combat... I like that shit because its more realistic

i always hated Superman, Flash, and pretty much any bullshit hero with bullshit powers because it was so unrealistic and cheap tbh

the cheesy acting grows on you.. I'm into the whole super hero shit, especially the ones that dont have super powers... I respect the heroes that master a skill like Arrow did archery, or Daredevil did his senses, etc

If there's a decent plot that aint hard to follow and some twists here n there & a decent amount of action i'll deal with corny acting

haha i find Arrow an Flash refreshing coz they don't try to be super serious… ok Arrow does but still daredevil takes itself to serious… like when they show you Kingpin for the first time i bust out laughing… like son u buying a painting with nothin on it u lame as cheese…. where as when I first saw the villain in Arrow I knew he was gonna be a G… I dunno maybe its intuition but IDFWI

There are tons of Easter Eggs in Arrow, also. For instance, in "The Climb," episode 9 of season 3 of Arrow, Felicity Smoak is reading a news story about The Revers Flash's attack on S.T.A.R. Labs. BUT, Vincent D'Onofrio is a G in Daredevil. There's no doubt about that. He definitely does The Kingpin justice. And @Indianapolis Jones, regarding your comment about HBO, Daredevil stars Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock. As you know, Charlie Cox had a fantastic performance in Boardwalk Empire.

I've never watched Boardwalk Empire. I know of it but for w.e reason I never got in the mood to give it a go.

From Oz all the way to GoT HBO has never disappointed me so I'm sure I'll like it.

Rome as well. Those are the only HBO shows I haven't watched.

Is anyone watching Vikings?

People rave about it but I've watched the first 2 episodes and tbh it was a chore just to get that far.

The scripting is bland and dialogue is flat, the acting/characters are wooden and 1 dimensional, the accents are really bad. A bad accent that is at least consistent is 1 thing. But a bad Scandinavian accent that flips between a bad English, American and even WELSH accent? It's distracting as fuck.

You watch characters like Tyrion, Stannis, Little Finger (Every GoT character tbh) Walter White, Jesse, Gus, Mike, Saul, Tony Soprano, Stinger Bell, Omar, Vick Makey and Luther, whether their spouting a million lines of dialogue or they're being deadly silent you're tuned in and in the moment.

I'm getting none of that from this. Not seeing what everyone raving about. because everything moves at a snails pace with nothing interesting to say along the way



And Maybe I'm too spoiled by GoT but for a show about Vikings it's stupidly PG
