I think everyone should allow it, for example in the case of the two Muslim guys who killed the soldier (or the poor guy being made the official face of racial profiling). They did that and were caught red handed, that's 100% fine to kill them over.
But a Judge or Jury are mere men. To hold someone's life in your hands when there is a % chance you are wrong, it doesn't work out imo.

Yeah, you have to KNOW they are not innocent. They can swear on their mum's lives all they want, but if you have the lyrics in front of you, then off with their head.

Pros:
It Kills Bad People (Serial Killers, Murderers, Rapists, Sex Offenders, etc.)
Takes One Less Person Off The Taxpayers Dollars Expense Fund.
They Can't Re-enter Society To Commit Anymore Crimes. Even If You've Given Life Sentence You Can Always Cut A Deal (If You're Important Enough Or Know Information Regarding Other Criminal Activities And You Didn't Get Life Without The Possibly Of Parole) To Get Shorter Time With Parole, They Would Probably Always Get Rejected But There's The Chance They Might Get Out. Charles Manson Has His Next Parole Hearing In 13 Years And He'll Be 92 At The Time But Even Then There's A Tiny Chance He Could Get Out. This Way They Can't Possibly Go Back Because They're Dead.
Cons:
It's Too Easy Of A Punishment. I Feel Like They Know They're Going To Die (And They've Certainly Sped Up The Process By Committing Their Crimes) So They're Just Going To Burn The World As Long As They Can.
You Might Kill An Innocent Person. As Humans We're Flawed So There's Always Going To Be A Flawed Judicial System Therefore Some Innocent People May Die Which Doesn't Make It Right. There's No Excuse For Killing An Innocent Person Ever. Even If It's 1 Out Of A Million Criminals There's No Justice In That, There's No Reason Why 1 Man Should Be Sacrificed For That Cause.
The System Itself Is Flawed So Giving Out Such A Final Punishment Shouldn't Be Allowed.
I Could Bring Up Race And Financial Reasoning ("Minorities", More Money = Better Lawyers, Social Class = Less Severe Punishment, White Collar Crimes, etc.) Into It But I Think Those Reasons Are Sufficient.
So Yes Abolish It.

I agree with it in theory, but I remember in school we watched this documentary called Deadline that showed how many people had been found innocent after they were executed and how many more were exonerated from death row. Plus, there was some law in Indiana or something in the 70s that wouldn't let the state pardon people from death row even though they found possible proof of innocence or something. That, aside with the fact that it costs like 10 times more to kill prisoners than to keep them in jail, makes me disagree with it, at least the way it's carried out here in the states.
