7 Ways To Keep Your Raps From Sucking Turds!
Do your raps suck horribly? I bet they do!
I guess it’s pretty obvious that if you’re reading this you want to learn how to rhyme better. Or at least find things that will motivate you and help improve the way you rhyme. Maybe you just need a little inspiration. Well, carry on and continue reading.
I can’t really teach you how to rap. Its just a skill that you have to work on like anything else. Practicing helps a whole lot. I know you’ve probably heard that millions of times but it’s the truth my friend. We all know Kobe or LeBron didn’t get as good as they are without practicing. They busted thier butts to get to where they are today. You’re going to have to do the same thing.
Now, don’t tense up. Rapping shouldn’t even be hardwork for you. If this is your dream then it should probably be like playing to you. I’m simply just giving you ways to expand yourself and become better at your craft.
1. Bigger is Best
•It would be wise to spend time expanding your vocabulary. If you keep using the same words over and over, most of your raps sooner-or-later are going to get stagnant and dry. Put some spice into it. Challenge people a bit, don’t be afraid to have people looking up new words. This is how you provide value to your work. Teach your listeners something new.
•Learn at least three new words out of the dictionary if you can each day. This ties into you expanding you vocabulary. Sound like you’ve gotten an education, which I’m sure you have in one way or another.
•Make use of a Thesaurus. This will help get used to swapping and interchanging words with thier synonyms so that you can possibly fit them in your rhymes better without losing meaning.
Just, remember, the bigger vocabulary bank you have the better.
