Jeet Kun Do is still running in LOADS of places. So why don't we see more JKD fighters in MMA? Infact, I literally can't think of one...ever.

Also that's something that always gets me. Lee is credited with the creation of MMA. Not a single martial art, ever, is that rigid. Everything is an adaptation. Shuai Jiao, the earliest known martial art, developed from Jiao Di, which was a game where people wore headgear and ran into each other like bulls. Every martial art develops and alters techniques. Every sensei and every student takes a single technique in differently. Bruce Lee was in NO way the originator of this.

Also, Lee knew next to no grappling. Sure, Gene LeBell was good, but rolling with Lee for a few minutes isn't enough for Lee to know what he's doing in a cage. Lee's commitment and abilities make me positive that if he was training in the current era, he'd be one of the best fighters in the world. But on the skill set he possessed, you can't see a fight in MMA going any other way than a ground and pound TKO or RNC finish. Lee wouldn't last 2 minutes against Royce Gracie had he been in his prime and entered UFC 1.
