There once was a poor man who lived ALONE IN A SHACK/
But it wasn't always like that, he was never a LONER, IN FACT/
He was a popular Dock worker till he BLOWN OUT HIS BACK/
& it wasn't on the job so he got laid off & lost his HOME TO THE HACKS/
He went looking for work but future employers were FROWNING HIS MORALS/
That's when he got fed up & started DROWNING HIS SORROWS/
Became abusive, Wife divorced him which lead to more DOWNING OF BOTTLES/
& he was "blind" to the fact that he "let his Suns DOWN" LIKE CEDRIC CEBALLOS/
The misfortune ate him alive, he was a SHELL OF HIMSELF/
Bill collectors on his back & they not tryna SETTLE FOR HELP/
Told him "Eveything you own? You better SELL EM, OR ELSE"/
Even calling the Wife's job, she like "you better go Soulja-Boy TELL EM YOURSELF"/
The whole time he's boozing heavy, a DRINK EVERY HALF/
Hour on the dot, catch him SQUINT AT HIS GLASS/
Try to swipe it off the bar & spilled the SHIT ON HIS CASH/
Now the Bartender mad cuz she always cleaning IT AFTER HIS ASS/
Friends staged an intervention, would say "TRY IT AND SEE"/
& if it doesn't work he'd go back to, passing out & LAYING IN PEE/
Doctors said "your killing yourself" he thought "STOP LYING TO ME"/
Cuz he needed that alcohol... The Drunk was "DYING IN GLEE"/
That's basically the end of the STORY... I'll spare ya'll the GORY DEBRIEF/
But he fell into PURGATORY & they found "Finn floating in the Hudson" like COREY MONTEITH/
I felt bad for The Drunk... but as I think TWICE at him "ICED LIKE THE FIRST KENNEDY"/
Realized he only had himself to blame, that favorite VICE WAS HIS WORST ENEMY/
So watch what YOU DO... Or like The Drunk, it MIGHT DO YOU/
& Karma's a MO-FUCKER... But addiction is SO TOUGHER/
