Can someone please elaborate on how the point system works?

Is it per battle won or has it to do with your win rate coz i chexd some guys only have a few battles but a 100% win rate, then theyre ranked above a guy with more battles won but lost some...or is it to do with your votes?

usually when theres a - next to your point.. its below freezing.. especially when using celcius scale..
