Default Titans Breakdown.

(first got to re-correct myself about Vince Young. That was not the name I was trying to put in a previous post)..

Kwon, so CJ wasn't in the clutch through the season. He wasn't averaging 100+ yards PG however, he is still your best player overall. What y'all need to focus on is defense. When was the last time the Titans had a solid defense?

He's our best player, correct, but he's definitely not the most important. Chris Johnson is going to have to be able to, at least, get us 75 rushing yards a game or go 50/50 in receiving and rushing. He can't be slumping if we plan to do something BIG this year and our defense has been in a slump these past few years and (on top of that) we lost our star cornerback, Courtland Finnegan.

That's what I'm saying, we're going to have to be able to compete with teams that our dominant in the air like Patriots, Lions, and I'm hoping to God we can beat the Colts this year. That's why I said Jake Locker and the return of "Kenny Britt" and the rest of our receiving crew are our primary factors.

How many games have Jake Locker played? I've only seen him in 4 games. He hasn't even thrown 100 passes and you believe this guy has the potential to carry a team? His overall performance against Saints, Falcons and Colts was horrible. This guy is far from carrying the team anywhere.

Do you know how many times this cat gets compared to Cam Newton? And how do you expect a backup QB to perform after backing up Hasselbeck who isn't very accurate and practice-wise, Jake probably didn't see too many reps. But now that he's pretty much considered our True Starter, I see this man putting up big numbers this season and I honestly think he's a better passer than Hasselbeck already! And Hasselbeck NEARLY took us to the playoffs last year.

On top of that, Kenny Britt was having 200-yard receiving games before he tore his ACL so that's another reason why I feel Locker can carry our team further than Hasselbeck did. Just watch his College Highlights and you'll see what I'm talking about. This dude ain't no joke!

Honestly, big difference between College and Professional. As a back-up QB, yes, you don't get as much PT unless an injury occurs and your placed on the field. He can get compared to Cam Newton all he wants. Reality, that doesn't make him a good QB (yet anyways). Again, with not a lot of field time to progress, I can't consider him any major threat at this moment. Now, when the season starts, we can definitely start to look at his overall performance against such teams as Patriots, Chargers & Lions.

Britt, IF healthy, can possibly be an offensive threat (to a degree). Averaging a total of 17 yards in a 3-game experience is a bit wicked, if asked. IS he healthy anyways?

I agree College and Professional are exceptionally different and the reason you can't consider Jake to be a major threat at this moment (due to his performances against the three teams you named) but GIVE HIM A BREAK! Even the greatest QB's have bad games and I understand the three teams don't have the greatest defenses, BUT answer this question. How late in the season were these games? Because any known quarterback has got to develop some sort of chemistry with their receivers and I can honestly say THAT we didn't have the greatest receiving core with Nate Washington being considered as our Primary Receiver. He had a great season that year by the way so yeah.. I see the three of them (Kendall Wright, Nate Washington, Kenny Britt) having an outstanding season along with Jake Locker.

And 17 yards per reception is a pretty big deal. Lol. I'm not sure if he's healthy or not but I hope so.

CLEARLY, 17 catches to average 17 yards, NOT A BIG DEAL. That's only with a 3-game spree. And from known-sources, Kenny Britt "might-not" be doing any sort of route-catching this season. Currently on PUP (with knee injury still at large), theirs small talk that could possibly put Britt on a different team.

Yes, Locker's games were late in the season. Technically doesn't make a broad difference if it was the beginning. Chemistry builds as the game goes along. You can honestly start all season and have no chemistry with your team. (Take the Colts for an example). Again, higher possibility of him excelling during this season but as of right now, don't consider him a threat.

Nate Washington .. can't complain about him. He did his thing last season. As long as he's a bit more consecutive & consistent with this gameplay, he'll definitely be considered a top-player for Tennessee this season.

Smh. 17 catches for 17 yards per reception is a HUGE deal. What's 17x17 about 300 yards in 3 games and this isn't a "big deal"? Do the math, every team plays 16 games in a regular NFL Season. Now.. let's say he kept this up for 13 more games. *Grabs Calculator* 1500 yards for the season? Are you serious!? Plus, 17 yards per catch is basically a first down everytime he touches the ball.

I think the talk about Britt going to a new team and not getting many route-catching is BS. Usually, the press will make up some jazz before the season starts because of the whole fantasy league thing. A true fan would know that Kenny Britt is too big of a factor for us to just give him away, although, he is injury prone.

Theirs no telling if he would've kept that type of average throughout the season. Get real son. It isn't even worth bragging rights for a 3-game spree. Overall, not impressive. On to other factors.

Injury? Buzz about him getting cut? Type accurate to me. Currently still fighting the injury with the season getting ready to start. If that injury don't look promising enough for any playtime during the first 2-3 games, he might at well say goodbye.

Kenny Britt is one of the most consistent receivers in the league to be honest (when healthy). He won't get you much YAC but the reason his average is so damn HIGH (although it's only for 3 games) is because he's a receiver that is bound to move the chains on a CONSISTENT basis.

And we're just going to have to see about that.. I really don't see KENNY BRITT (our star receiver) going anywhere. If he's injured THAT bad, we'll just place him on IR because as far as I'm concerned, his salary isn't too grand so I HONESTLY don't see why we'd let him go...
