@Askari.. ima have to disagree wit your idea of lowering vp based on how people rate battles..rating is subject to opinion and could differ from one to another as to what constitutes a 3 or a 10. the more appropriate solution would be to penalize peeps that vote wit little to no explanation because thats the biggest problem rite there.s

^I dont agree w/ that at all. If a new battler comes in and his 'opinion' of a drop is a 5 without having any previous knowledge of multi's, punchlines, structure, wordplay or concepts while every Mod & FVC member on the battle considers it an 8, that new voter should have his VP lowered until they can prove them self a knowledgable voter.

When a less skilled battler drops a vote, it's almost always gonna be less reliable then that of a heavyweight or a veteran, simply b/cuz the less skilled voter might not recognize the more skilled concepts, execution styles, impact or wordplay as well as somebody with more experience would.

Also more experienced voters tend to have a solid grasp of the difference between a 4, 5 or 6, a 7 & what a drop that would be considered an 8 or a 9 is, while beginners tend to throw down an 8 or 9 on anything better then they could do...

I Was Going Thru Audio Battles And I Heard a Verse Where The MC Said "His Panties Get Wet & His Ass Gets Recked" In The Same Breath .. So I Gave Him a 2 With a Harsh But Rather Fair Expo As To Why He Recieved That Vote .. Am I Wrong?

Another Thing That I See - I Was Recruited By @Askari .. Specifally For Audio FVC .. But I Was Told To Set Up a Text FVC .. And w/ The Exception Of Maybe 2 FVC Members I Had The Most Pages In Both Audio and Text FVC Threads! Now FVC Has Failed Again For The Second Time And Just C Is Telling Me I Will No Longer Be FVC?!? When Askari Was The Person Who Accepted me Int FVC In The First Place .. Not That I Care If I Am FVC Or Not I Just Find It Rather Odd That These Events Take Place ..

Me Personally I Feel Like I Give Nice Detailed Votes And FeedBack Than The Occasional FVGBVB!

But That Is My Take On It All .. I Think Sometimes We Overlook Commitment To The Site And Activity .. For Our Own Selfish Reason FVC Was Fine In My Eyes Before Need Some Touch-Ups But Not a Overhall

at wis.. i agree wit what you said.. what im saying is rating is not as important as an explanation in your vote.unless the higher rating number affects a persons accumalitve points if they win.. obviously someone wit more experience is gonna have a better grasp of rating..thats a give in..but you can tell in a persons expo if they truly know.and also if theyre trying to make an effort in helping a person elevate by giving an honest feedback.

VP will be lowered if votes are CLEARLY stupid on a consistent basis. If I can rate a verse a 2 and someone else can rate it a 10 then one of those votes is undoubtedly wrong, and it isn't mine as far as I'm concerned. If I see someone repeating this kind of voting behaviour I'll lower their VP, it's as simple as that.

As for @Fiji Osa, I told Just C this and I'll tell you the same: if he has issues with you being Audio FVC then that's his bag now, audio is nothing to do with me, but I would like to have you on my text FVC.

There is preference and there being realistic like some people who are new give a 10 to something is a 6 (like me..well I used to when I was new).That what it is no one telling you your opinion doesn't matter but some opinions killed the hotlist.
