I find this hypocritical coming from someone who most his beat's go with the norm of what is produced in mainstream rap/pop today ,,, you can tell emcee's to be orginal but the electronic synth dirty south type beats your producing do not spark an orginality inside an emcee ,, you yourself are cashing in on what is popular today ,,, the wisdom and emotions sparked inside one who writes lyrics is mainly driven by the beat ,, its the heart of the music the emcee himself writing is the brain ,, i wouldn't atempt writing to your dirty south beats because it doesnt spark nothing inside of me ,, its not just the emcee's ,, its the producer , the radio ,, and most of all the labels ,,, but dig a lil deeper and you will find a new fav rapper that beast's on everyone else's fav rapper ,, think lil wayne & jay-z are the greatest today ,, fuck you can probably walk out of an apartment complex outside of new york and find a handful of rappers in a 3 block radius that spit it iller ,, dont believe what media tells you , your more or less buying into the concept that hip hop is dead ,, just cause these other rappers dont want anyone taking there shine or "throne" so to speak ,, Find that local emcee from your hometown or homestate that does that real shit there always a few of them,,, and support them instead of turning on your radio and listening to kanye west

^ beats in general aren't creative anymore all that can be done has been done if you want old school sounding since thats originality I guess well that has been done way before our time too and the underground type of feel from horrorocore to soulfull well they have all pretty much have been done too creativity song wise has been pretty much well done in every genre of music

There is a very big difference between the use of drugs and guns in rap. Drugs are mentioned far more often but thats because drugs are probably the only social epidemic that effects all social levels. i have no problem with the use of drug references in rap due to the fact that the people putting this out there...probably do use drugs..whereas 95% of the kats with gunplay in their lyrics probably have never even used a gun...or seen a real one for that matter...lets face it... its not a problem if its something honest about the emcee's life..then its Just expression, its all these young kats with pampered lives comin in acting gangster that are ruining the game.... bow wow wanna say hes gonna pop sumone...thats just retarded...but if snoop wanna tell me how many blunts he be blazin daily...imma have to believe him...yadig???.....
