What kept you on Letsbeef.com?

Even though I have had my differences with certain members on here which caused some controversies, I can't deny the fact that this is my home site and I started battling here. Also some of the best dudes I know online are from LetsBeef.

I made some real good friends on here - @Jason @ILLoKWENT @Manhattan @RULE @EtH @Freek @X-Caliber @Teek @Phil Banks

Also the fact that Letsbeef is different from other sites in terms of battling (in built audio recorders and text boxes and automated vote-rating systems and VP)

Best believe I'll be here till the site crashes.

So you telling them there verse is whack shouldn't keeps battlers away .. I've seen other sites and never thought about leaving Letsbeef. And that was in 07 when I came. Only thing I never got hip on was the forum talk . And that's because of the style of chat mufkas approached me wit . Like it was ah clan of suburban geeks . Imma street nigga who love to rap . I've been here for a long time. I have left for as long as a year at a time because of frustration, not understanding the Voting Power and not getting questions answered or obvious errors corrected. I stuck it out because in reality, no one has made a website that works like this. I'm lazy. I don't want to upload a video on youtube, attach some link to a forum and wait for someone else to do the same. I have looked for a replacement several times and it seems like that is all that is offered. What this site has set up is bad ass. How it was functioned and was managed, sucked. I have stuck around because its the easiest place to login and yell at someone after a shitty day at work. No matter how angry or confused I was with what happened with me last battle, I always came back because of the simplicity and enjoyment of just rapping on here. In the last few months, things have gotten a lot better. Illokwent was very helpful with answering questions and helping solve problems. Rant has stepped up and actually made a huge difference with fixing small problems and educating people lately. I think this would have made a huge difference for me and maybe I wouldn't have left so many times. I think a sticky with basic shit that is gonna come up with most battles would be helpful. Maybe Voting Power Explained, would be a nice topic to make easily accessible for newbies.

.......and I really think some sort of VP rehab should be in place. Seriously. Lotta dudes that sign up and don't know what the fuck they're doin. Some of them do figure it out though. Eventually.
