Well, I'm not NOBLE, but I believe it was:

"A sharp knife never proclaims its sharpness to the world... but the first to fall against it becomes its advocate."

That's the phrasing I remember, anyway. It might not be exactly right.

EDIT: Googled it, whoo, I was right. Yay for memory.
