Cut Throat Track Tournament
CUT THROAT
Track Tournament
A 16 man tournament will be held to distinguish who the best track maker/artist on the site is right now.
The Battles
Each battle will have it's own thread within this forum. I will open the thread by posting a youtube link to the beat that the emcees will be required to use within this battle (each head to head will have a different beat, all selected by me and will vary in style.)
Once the thread is open, the participants will have exactly 14 days to create their song using the selected beat and submit it into the tracks section of the site (If a participant is not an exclusive member then you will be provided with an exclusive membership for the duration of your tournament run for the purpose of submitting your track.)
You will be allowed no collaborations/features in your track. These are strictly solo projects only.
Failure to post your track within the 14 days will result in a disqualification.
Note; Extentions may be given dependant on the reasoning behing not being able to post in time and the length required to complete your piece.
Each round will be drawn at random.
Judging
Judging for these head to heads will be open for 3 days.
Each battle will be judged on the following;
- Content
- Emotion
- Hook
- Flow
- Captivation/Relatability
Each of these areas will be given a mark out of 10 by the judge and all points will be correlated to accumulate your final score.
The artist with the most total points at the time I close the round will be the winner and will advance in the tournament.
Prizes
The runner up of this tournament will receive Six Months Exclusive Membership and Three Emcee Items.
They will also be granted automatic entry into the next tournament should they wish to participate.
The Winner of this tournament will receive the following usertitle;
Cut Throat Champion
In addition to the title they will receive One Year's Exclusive Membership and Three Emcee Items.
They will also be granted automatic entry into the next tournament should they wish to participate.
The Participants
I will not be entering this tournament so I can focus on making sure everything is running smooth within it.
I will be handpicking the 16 artists who will be entering the competition and will shortly be sending out messages to the current active track makers of the site that I know of.
If you would like to be considered for this tournament, please state your interest in this thread and I will begin to make a list.

I'm definitely interested. So, to get this right...you'll provide us, or whoever is participating in the contest with a beat from Youtube... We all use it, and go up against a random other members song? And either get moved up or disqualified from there?
