The Story of Ben...
This isn't something that will have me forced to pretend
That I really know about this kid's unfortunate end.
They say it's a summer day that went and saw a mortal ascend
In to the Heaven above... This is the Story of Ben.
What I've been told was that he's just a kid who's twelve in age.
A nicer boy who'd like to find enjoyment in his Zelda game.
By the time of nine, he'd sigh "Goodnight", then press "Select to Save".
But somehow, his character would be engulfed in hellish flames.
A matter that he felt was strange, his tiny mind would swell with rage.
He'd yell out, "Aw Ben! Now look at the mess you've made!"
He didn't know that this would be his last night of playing.
Cause swimming with his friends for the last time's awaiting.
That next day, he decided he would swim to deeper parts
and maybe now he'd stay his ground, he'd swing his arms, his feet had charged.
but suddenly, he'd bumped his knee, that doesn't mean that he's alarmed
for he never took a gasp for air, the water stopped his beating heart...
The friends would never realize he's gone until the bleeding starts.
Flash forward, and his dad mourns at a burial scene.
The next couple weeks, he had started selling various things.
I picked up the Zelda game, his father stared with a gleam
And said, "To finish that game you have right there was his dream."
I took it home with me, cartridge in, and started the game
And what do you know, a couple minutes? And I'm charred into flames.
The words? Distorted and my character has parts of his frame garbled and maimed
while this lifeless statue follows with a startling gaze.
Is this magic tricks? I had to quit before I'm tortured and mindless.
I went back to find the merchant and before I could find him
The game shut off, then turned back on, I couldn't believe
what I had saw before my eyes when I looked at the screen...
Save 1: BEN. Hearts: 9 Rupees: 406
Save 2: DROWNED. Hearts: 0 Rupees: 0
