One Bar Battle Regulations
1 Bar Battle Rules
Rules & Regulations
- All One Bar battles must be posted in the Exclusive Arena only. DO NOT post one bar battles in the Basic Arena. Anyone with Exclusive can set up private One Bar battles with another member (the sender has to have Exclusive) at any time, whether or not you are involved with the monthly One Bar PPV. PPV members may also have One Bar battles outside of the PPV schedule, however, they will only count towards your PPV ratings if your opponent is also a rated PPV member.
- Total submission character count cannot be more than 220 characters. Use the javascript character counter below to make sure your bar doesn't go over the limit. It will not let you go over 220 characters and it displays how many characters are left underneath
- These battles are encouraged to be pre-arranged, meaning set up where both participants agree to the stipulation of staying within 220 characters.
- If either participant's line count exceeds 220 characters, that participant will be disqualified for not following 1-Bar Battles rules & regulations
- Since both participants must agree to the terms of these battles, posting open 1-Bar Battles is not encouraged (Mods will not act if you post an open 1-Bar Battle and someone responds with 8 bars).
Javascript Character Counter
220 more characters available. Format
- The Punch/Bar may be as long or short as you wish, as long as it does not exceed the 220 character limit limit.
- Expos are allowed, as long as they do not sway an opponent's bar/punchline. However, you must post your expo as a comment to the battle, not as a part of the text box as indicated by the red areas above
Shout-outs to @ NAWKOUT ARTIIST™ for helping to draft these regulations!
