It didn't have a topic or deadline for any of that time. And at least a solid 2 months of it was the semi-finals being stalled haha. But yeah it was open without a topic or deadline for a long time.

My biggest issue is the way Rock choose to handle shit, honestly. It would have been a different story if he didn't address it by blowing up immediately, making a public thread, more than half-accusing me of planning it with row, then giving a fake ass 'go fuck yourself' congratulations.

He didn't message me, he didn't even tag me. He didn't do anything about approaching me with his little feelings of being screwed out of it besides start cussing and pointing fingers in public space.

So if the dude's gonna be an asshole and not show an ounce of respect plus go behind my back to cry about it why would I want to do him any favors?

You think vitriol or stricc or a hundred other people would have responded this way? Not a chance. It's about respect, you don't show me any, you don't get any back.


Now the angle I'd imagine you'd be taking (and feel free to correct me with your vision if I'm wrong) would be concerning the legitimacy of the tournament and the value of the title being diminished.

The tournament ran with more than a 50% no-show rate. M-rock would have only had to have beaten one person to end up with a title. From the quarter finals to the actual finals, there was only one battle that went through. And yes, between the semi-finals and the finals it was open an extremely long period of time.

So in my mind, regardless of the outcomes the tournament quality, legitimacy and competitiveness of the entire thing was meh. But I guarantee Rock over here would have been proud to parade around with it if he won one battle against me for it.




And please tell me how closing a battle far after the deadline is 'unfair modding'.

After the final being opened for that long, leeway should OBVIOUSLY be given. I ran a tournament back in the day with the semis being opened for like a year. UA was a month late to post for his but the shit was opened for a year.

This is obviously what you're doing Either battle for the title or don't, but accept anything said to you for either decision.

Accepting a no show win really at any time is renowned for being bullshit. But denying a day or two on a 6 month round? I don't think I'm being biased here.

You should know topicals are inherently different than other battles. Without a topic, you cannot work on it to get ahead. In a normal battle we could have spent a year writing for each other. On the topical side, we both had a limited amount of time to produce something once the topic was given. On a 4 day deadline, another 3 days is almost double the amount of time.

If I didn't post, Row would have advanced the tournament and given M-rock the title on all no-shows (which would have caused far less bitching).

I'm not sure I follow the majority of the third paragraph besides that you wanted to add in an unrelated childhood story. I'm not stalling. I already said what I'm doing quite clearly. Now I'm just antagonizing Rock because I haven't trolled anyone in years and I gotta clear out the system.

I didn't deny a 2 day extension. He offered himself a 2 day extension and I didn't do anything about it. He just exceeded that as well and it was closed when I got on, along with this thread being here. I didn't tell Row to close it. I rarely even talk to Row.

I know for a fact M-Rock has nearly quit the site because of the amount of guys who no showed him in tournaments. He's not accepting these. You always grant people extensions or you have to deal with being called a bitch.

You're saying "I didn't tell Row to close it". We'll you're not telling him to open it so you can get both you and his verses heard either. Topicals are the most extended of all deadlines because writers inherently want their shit heard or read.

But you HAVE been talking shit about ACs for like a year. You didn't say a word about ACs previously (and even accepted the invite). How does that not add up?
