Question to Audio Guys - Page 7 - Lets Beef

most of the noobie audio guys just instantly vote for the person who is higher rank. I had a battle where i had nice Multies n disses, against a guy that just simply rhymed..they all voted for him btw he was also a lot higher rank than me..no-one listens to anything they just rate the flow and rhymes.

for me to agree with that..i'd have to admit that audio battling is really rap...would you listen to a disc full of 1 min audios? hell naw...there's MUCH more involved in making rap music than calling a dude gay lol...

i do see what you mean, but you are also assuming that an audio battle is somehow superior, and a finished rap product....when it isnt.

whats wrong with someone wanting to use text as there means to combat wits with someone else?

I can be the stated point, but it's not an exclusive thing.

For example, I've openly stated I have little to no interest in going to audio, although I (may) text in the future.

I can be the stated point, but it's not an exclusive thing.

For example, I've openly stated I have little to no interest in going to audio, although I (may) text in the future.

I was more referring to tracks. Audio battles are just a different form of battling than text.

If we are talking about audio and text BATTLES only. Then I would say audio battles are rap but not rap MUSIC. Text battles are written raps not rap music. I thought the overall goal was to eventually make some rap tracks, unless its just a hobby to do some battling, then in that case, who gives a fuck if its just text or audio.

this really explains that audio, text, and tracks are seperate entities, fam...some of the best track makers would get smashed in a battle

Yeah I was misunderstood. If its just a hobby to battle in text or in audio then they are two different things and you can't really compare the two at all. If the overall goal is something greater its a different story.
