Yeah^.Personally, I don't understand the reluctance..

The idea is to keep the site fresh and exciting.

If you can't be assed making these things official. the site gets stagnent

Stop fighting these thing's and just give the people what they want

I think it's sad when people like RULE, T_N and others have to make up tournament's and do all of the leg work

because mod's dont want to chip in, by forming some brackets

Being a mod aint just about deleting votes, and answring p.m's

It's about keeping the site going in the right direction, by offering the users oppurtunities to show of their skill's and do what they love most (rapping)...Give us some insperation

After all it is the mods who have the power to make tournaments official

So why waste them, that's not what you was given them for

And this isnt me mod bashing..So dont catch feelings

Nah .... the tourny schedules done and dusted... took us long enough to finalise it

We tried having shit loads of official tournaments last year ... they just got ignored in the end up ... it made tournaments lose any importance.... nobody gave a shit

when there's 2 a year on each side it's something to look forward to ... build up a bit of anticipation

we waited till the start of the year to put this new tournament schedule into action .... that was decided over the last few months as the best set up for everybody involved... whether they realise it or not.

But if I said to you, I set up a thread, To get people paired up, I spread word around, (PM them, comment them) with the link see what kind of reaction we get
if I can say, get 32 people paired up in teams (16 is too small, and 64 is way too big)
Would you atleast consider it, if your satisfied with the response and the feedback
it generates?

I can see both sides. I think tournaments getting ignored has more than just users interest to blame. I think there are alot of reasons. I think instead of going back and forth arguing, it should be a collaborative effort as to how we can spice things up and still keep tournaments exciting. The page that tries to sell exclusive says "monthly" tournaments. I think we are doing some false advertising. I think that monthly is excessive, but two a year seems a little less than enough. Rather than saying people ignore tournaments, lets not have them...it would be more beneficial to find out why they are ignored, and attack the root of the problem. Seems more proactive and less reactive. I wasn't a real close part of the talks on tournaments amongst staff or I would have clearly expressed my thoughts at that time. Idk. On the other hand I couldnt really give a fuck less to a certain degree.

This is how i see it..... we eventualy work out a schedule ... we're gonna go with it for a while..... not just say ....fuck it ... after what?... 6 days.
