Give Eminem any beat he'll slaughter it. His lyricism is bettered by no one. Nas is great but he's not better than Eminem. Also you have to bring into it consistency in which Em is far superior.

Eminem is dope. But you'll never have everyone in rap agree that anyone is undisputed. Everyone has their favorites. But yeah, I think he is the GOAT. He's on another lvl lyrically and is dope at freestyles too.

Knew You'd Pop Up Somewhere In This Thread Lol Whaddup Missy
Also, What Almost EVERYONE Fails To Mention Is That Tupac Started Out As A Roadie (Follower) Then Transitioned To A Backup Dancer (For Digital Underground, YouTube Their Songs And Try To Tell Me They're Hard As Fuck With A Straight Face, Not Gonna Happen).
He Also Went To The Baltimore School For The Arts Where He Studied Acting, Poetry, Jazz And Ballet. He Performed In Shakespeare Plays, Took Poetry Lessons From Leila Steinberg And Jada Pinkett Was His BFF.
All These Facts Discredit The Notion Most People Get When They Say "Oh He Wasn't A Lyrical But His Music Was Real, He Was The Realest Rapper Ever". Considering All The Facts I Just Pointed Out How Is That "Thug Life"? Sure His Parents And Their Friends Where Black Panthers But That Was Them, That's Like Saying "Oh Paris Hilton Is A Smart Business Women Because Conrad Hilton Was A Genius".
Also, Exactly How Snoop Dogg Has Become Less Relevant Today And Has To Collaborate With Katy Perry To Stay "Hip" Tupac Would've Been Doing The Same Thing. He Was A Controversial Figure In The 90's But So Was Vanilla Ice.
Lastly, I Guarantee 99% Of The People In This Thread Weren't In Their 20's In The 90's, They Were Little Kids Looking Up To A "Gangsta" Who Stayed In The Media With His Antics. So They Can't Say "Oh He Was As Famous Then As He Was Now". That's Not True At All. Now That's He Dead, He's Immortalized (Everyone That Has Died Is More Famous) Because He Went Out In His Prime, There Was No 10-20 Years Of Sad Decline For Tupac To Where He'd Had To Do A Collabo With Wiz Khalifa To Get Some New Songs Out.
All This Being Said, I'm Actually A Huge Fan Of 2Pac. I've Got Every Single Album On CD (Actual Physical CD Format) His Whole Catalog Including His Early Work. I Just Don't Think He's The Greatest Rapper Of All Time Or The Realest Rapper Of All Time.

Pretty much what Student said, although I mean it in NO disrespectful way towards 2pac, whom I consider the greatest of all time.
Nick, I can easily show you a few guys lyrically stronger than Em, and I'm not even that into that side of rap. I'm sure plenty of people on here can show you guys that best Eminem fairly easily.

Pac was more versatile than Big. He could do it all within the genre.
For me it's between Pac and Em with a few others floating around.
Those 2 stand alone because they have 1 thing in common the other greats didn't.
They animated real life emotion into their songs.
All the others rapped to you. These 2 told you.
