Totally disagree.
Hip-Hop will always be Hip-Hop.
Some test the waters of pop, but real lyrical MCs sticks to the main course of the meal.
And I'm not talking about old heads, cause some of these new heads is just as ill or iller than the pioneers.

I've been listening to hip hop since the late 80s so i been thru most of the eras of hip hop's development. Drake isn't the voice of hip hop and i don't think he would want to be. I don't think any one artist has ever been "the voice of hip hop". IMO that person would have to understand and represent the ENTIRE CULTURE the way it was originally intended, and not just be a good mainstream artist. Closest thing we ever had to that was KRS-ONE.
