I disagree with this. This mindset is 1 of the reasons the site is so quiet now.

Good "trolls" create controversy and rivalry's and keep the place funny and interesting enough to at least keep checking the site.

Sometimes just writing and winning isn't enough.

That's just my opinion as someone who's been here long enough to have seen both sides of the coin.

And I don't consider half these guys we've banned trolls.

True trolls contribute absolutely nothing to the community. Our guys at least battle anyway.

Like Rohan for example. And at his time of banning he probably battled more than either myself or you. all while posting in the forums.

Obviously this is far from the only problem with the site.

I just think this witch hunt mentallity to make this site an exclusive only club puts a big dent in activity.

You're right Manny. Part of the problem with audio, is the half assed rappers who cannot maintain a decent freestyle for a minute. People need to take time to develop a well written verse if they expect people to want to listen to it and vote. I hear half the audio section drop freestyles and half of the verse is just swearing, because they aren't smart enough to freestyle. People need to write more..& your right fvc earned their VP, but I feel there is just to much of a gap in between VP. I've seen better voters with no VP to he honest.

Im not good of a voter,i say fuck in my freestyles alot,,i battle 8 times a month if that.and i still vote, not for the credtis,i vote because i like listening rap battles,its entertaining,,i don't complain,,well maybe a few times,,i dont ask for hate votes to be removed,i dont dick-ride for votes like some people do,,i vote on who had the better verse over-all,,i dont like voting when i have a battle up cause i dont want to seem like i vote for people just so they can vote for me,,out my wholoe time here i've 2 people total messages for a honest vote,,i have no one blocked but bitch ass ill4 and he still somehow was able 2 expo,,i keep it whats that saying they say 100 hundred or some shit like that,,,i keep it honest..

i am a member of a couple of fb rap battle groups woth thousands of member . i am always posting links to lb and quite a few have joined but cant figure out what the fuck is going on to start off with in regards to how to do a battle and drop votes . as i said ages ago , we need to send a welocme e-mail to each new member , explaining how the site works , how to drop votes and expos correctly ,and how the text / audio battles work . i see lots of folks joining , but few staying . and again , newbies get sniped by more experienced members and get put off by getting easily beaten , i suggested a newbie league / arena ages ago , where newbies can battle each other til they reach a level where they at least stand a chance against more senior members . and maybe have a rap school kinda thing , where they can learn about punches , wordplay , metas , multis etc . if we can keep just a couple of the new joiners every day then the site will be active again in just a few weeks , and the busier it gets , the more people will join . but i have said this before and nowt happened , but i still believe it would work . peace.

sure @ahuramazda , but they both full of really bad rappers ..they both think i am dope as fuck lmao ... one is called rap battle community and has over 15k members , and rap battle underground has over 22k members but i not been on there in weeks as its run by idiots ... also a group called rap battle has over 22k members as well . so thats nearly 60k members in just 3 groups , though i expect a lot of folks are in all 3 ...there are only a few dope rappers in all these groups , thats why i trying to get them over here to see how REAL rab battles work ...

The e-mail idea is good, but as far as newer members not sticking around that's on them, if you wanna improve you will...you just have to keep battling and then you start seeing other people and how it all works. I've had plenty of new people hit me up in IM chat and i'm more than happy to help them out with things they might be lacking or just give them honest feedback. They also have unranked arena to start with if they wanna just test the waters, so yeah an email explaining some of these things would be helpful. Some people just pop in for fun and don't really have any intentions of improving (which is fine) but if you're serious about it, the only way to become better is actually trying and battling better ppl is the way to go imo....i was checking my 1st battles like wow i wrote this? but started improving after sticking around and seeing some of the higher ranked guys or actually battling them.
