@ People that want to lose weight, I suggest you try a thing called 'Intermittent Fasting'. It's not a diet, it's just telling your body when you are going to eat and when not; Basically you create a time window fitting to your every day schedule...
Eg.
I was bulking (coz I was a skinny motherfucker) and I put a good 20Lbs of weight on, most of which hit my stomach - I no longer had abs.
So I tried Intermittent Fasting and this is how I did it:
I would wake up every morning at around 8:00-9:00am, drink a pint or 2 of water, and not eat for 10 hours, which took the time to 6:00-7:00pm.
(The next step is important because most people make the mistake of stuffing their face right before they sleep, thinking that the food consumed will 'last' until their next eating period.. But it doesn't work like that, if anything you are going to be more hungry when you wake up)
So it's now 6:00pm, and let's say your bed time is 11:00pm; The trick is to NOT eat anything atleast 2 hours before sleeping - The reason for this? Sleep is the human body's rest time, not just for muscles and the brain, but for also for all major organs; If you eat before sleeping, your body is going to store that food as a fat deposit because it's thinking "Fuck digesting this shit properly, this is my rest time" and boom, all food is stored as fat.
So now you've basically got a 2-3 hour eating window and 16-18 hours of 'IF' within 24 hours (10 hours through the day, around 8 hours sleep)
This is also very important - If you want to lose ALOT of weight, you need a CALORIE DEFICIT. Eg. For the average Man, the calorie daily intake should be 2500 - Therefore the deficit would be around 2300 calories. (But this is only if you want to lose extreme weight, the Intermittent Fasting alone should be enough) But if I were you, I'd stick to the average calorie intake (2000 Women, 2500 Men).
As you know, when trying to lose weight.. A damn McDonalds or KFC isn't gonna do any favours.. So try to eat healthily and stay away from high amounts of Carbs/Fats.
Remember this is just how I did it, you've gotta find the right time window that fits in to your every day life. The 'window' can be anywhere from 8 to 18 hours.

I just saw some documentary where they used twice as much salt and fat than the others, but might be different in the USA though
