Paying to perform at this point is totally justified.. we are looking at 3gs all in to pay for this event with the performers and battlers locked in... anyone else stepping into it is costing us $ to put them on..

And as far as views go.. they will pile up once we start posting riveting content... wether we get a few hundred or a few thousand.. we need to be consistant with it..

As I said, you get can all the new members and promotion through this event that you like.

It doesn't change the fact that at the end of the day, guys will be on HERE. The website that everyone's pissed off about, where absolutely no one votes on audios and the skill level has never been lower in that respect. Tracks get like 3 views.

The new guys you want to join will leave within a week. But I suppose it's worth the 3 grand eh?

You failing to realize that LBv 4 dropping almost in this same time as the LB Showcase .. we def doing this with the names stamped on it that will bring the needed exposure to LB that we have artist on here that should get paid attention to

@EtH , I feel like my point is also not getting across to @Fiji Osa or @Pugz.

I feel like my posts are being viewed as negative criticism as oppose to helpful ideas for the event, which I have been talking about to @Muggz for about a year now in TinyChat...

I am A-OKAY and understand why the event has a talented handpicked lineup, but to advertise like it was gonna be this LB event that you could sign up to participate in before Sept 1, and then back peddle to say it cost money to perform when I actually contacted Mic Check almost the same week the banner went online (maybe 2-3 weeks ago?).... and then when I asked Noble, he was surprised about having to pay money as well, which lead me on this quest to clarify....

Just saying there needs to be a bit better communication/advertising on the site for the event (I have now said this multiple times, but no one seems to care...)

Shouldn't we want LBers to show up to the LB event, instead of assuming they won't ?

Tbh I love the fact that live events are happening, and I hope it continues happening because if it gets bigger it will bring a bunch more dudes here.


But it's just utterly beyond me why we're working on dumping 3 grand into this instead of the crucial shit that's been promised for half a god damn decade.
