Why can't we pick our own beats in these competitions? If we could, I'd join. It's only limiting participation. Same wit the king competition. Nothing special about any of those beats and from the tracks of yours that I've heard, I don't see you picking beats Id like.

By going on beats chosen for you it levels the playing field for you and your opponent in that round because you're both using the same beat and it'll be easier to judge who's song was better because of that too. It will also help you grow as an artist by pulling you out of your comfort zone.

It boils down to preference so it shouldn't make a difference if people use the same beat or not. Wouldn't you rather have the contestants goin 100% ? If someone aint feelin a beat chosen for them you're not gonna get their best, if they even show up. So it's hindering effort as well as participation. If you want people to step out they comfort zone then assign topics
