Yeah when I lived with my moms I had to smoke out the window in my room because if she saw me smoking a J she would strangley auto-think I'm a dealer :S. It sucked, I feel your pain.

Bongs are somewhat of a novelty. I would always just have a nice glass pipe to smoke out of... Blunts are all good too, but when you got that shit like we got in Colo. or Cali like Gurp got, you don't wanna fuck the taste off wit tobacco.
