word @ Obey... this is deep... and the quick sand ish was deep aswell....
Not having control over an outcome or current situation. I try to plan to the end, on some Robert Green type shit.... but when you're in a situation that you cant control, or not know what is to come.. I hate that shit. It's like getting locked up... and not knowing what the fuck the judge is going to do, or what type of day he is having.........
My biggest fear is being afraid of anything.... I try to face all of my fears... I used to be afraid of heights until I went skydiving.... Until I just said fuck it... I was afraid of bee's until I realized how beautiful they are... I have two bee's nest on my balcony and I literally forget the bees are above me now.. they mind their business for the most part....
Being stranded in the middle of the ocean is a good one tho... there was a story about a cat that swam like 17 miles or some shit and survived.. shit was crazy... I might try to do a triathlon or some shit haha
some good ones posted here though.. but I try to face most my fears... because my biggest fear is being afraid of anything.. I hate that shit.

Physically: Afraid of falling, I'm not of afraid of heights per say it's mostly falling to my death. I'm good with being really high in the air as long as it's stable.
Psychological: Afraid of death, mostly it's the vast unknown. I have no fucking idea what's going to happen and that's fucking scary as fuck. Nobody ever fucking talks about it and it's crazy.

I've jumped out of a perfectly good plane 5 times, in Army Airborne school. But still have a fear of heights when it comes down too it. Like climbing a straight up ladder like past 20 feet is scary as fuck to me. I've tried it before trying to climb a water tower that was probably bout 100 feet with a ladder going straight up it near my house in high school. Didn't make it all the way. Said fuck it. I suppose with a good enough reason I could do it, but not just for the fuck of it like that time. Funny thing is, I was hyped to climb it in my mind, but wasn't meant to be.

I'm not really afraid of death. I'm more afraid of going through something that normally causes death (car crash, drowning, falling, etc) but rather than killing me, I survive and it leaves me physically/psychologically disabled for the rest of my life where I have to depend on everyone for everything. I'd rather die than be terminally ill or injured tbh.
As far as fears in general, every fear has a corresponding desire and I've discovered personally that when I focus on that corresponding desire, there is no room for fear and that fear quickly disappears. For example, if I come across a rabid wolf that is hungry, snarling, getting ready to come at me and there's no way I can outrun it, the only reason I'd fear for my life in that situation is because I desire to continue living. If , in that moment, I focused and thought of nothing else but how much I desire to continue living rather than how much I'm afraid this wolf's about to make me it's next meal, the fear of the wolf disappears and I gain a tunnel vision bent on survival. I am more apt to see myself out of that situation by focusing on the corresponding desire. I think fears can only be truly conquered in the moment, and thinking like that has helped to be able to overcome any fear because no matter what scares me, my desire for the opposite is always greater.
