The thing is though you can only go back to the day the time machine was turned on. So if you turn it on today, and leave it on for 5 years, you can only go back to today. You can't turn it on today and go back to the 1980's

& this is hypothetically speaking of course because time travel hasn't been done

I too admit this is fishy. Airlines have tracking systems that GPS Track EVERY Flight EVERYWHERE. This plane magically disappears and they cant find it even by going to the last known location? Shit makes no sense. I dont think it was hijacked by terrorists because its fucking malaysia. No one gives a fuck or shit about Malaysia enough to steal one of their planes.
