I don't see the harm in repping your crew at all. Honestly though I think it should only be a simple catchphrase that the crew uses or just the crew name/abbreviation. I do think that all the other irrelevant stuff should be left out....ex: AC's fucking all yall bitches up! but what's wrong w/ simply repping your crew? I do agree to leave out anything that isn't crew repping though

This has been going on since long before I joined the site and this is the first I've seen anyone complain. Funny how @ Row say's it's feminine but did it on the daily in Murda.

I don't have to battle, I'm a mod. All me not battling goes to prove is I'm not in this thread for myself. You think you're insulting me when all you're really doing is praising the fact that I genuinely give a shit about the site without having to have been directly effected in a negative way from what it is I am trying to address.
The only time YOU bring up something wrong is when it directly effects you.
Also the "You obnoxiously calling my obnoxiously calling another emcee whack thread, whack" argument is hypocritical at best. You're not the only 1 entitled to have a pop.
Now unless you have something of some substance to bring to the debate rather firing whiney blanks my way. You can leave.

But back onto the topic.
We're the only site which allows this sort of thing. If you did this anywhere else, You'd get banned. And the reason for that is it's a form of swaying/spam.
You can argue this a positive, just as I can argue this 1 thing that makes here unique, a negative.
I don't mean any offense when I say this. But I feel this creates an overly competative attitude. It's too much and it's the wrong place wrong time. It creates a more gangish childish attitude which spreads throught the site. You back bite and bitch at at any negative crit because your so on edge and too concerned with repping your crew. This doesn't apply to everyone. But it does create that kind of mindset and a strong sense of "I wanna have my cake and eat it" from certain reply's in here" when wanting swaying out but acting like it's perfectly fine to partake in this practice
How can you be so against the act of swaying, yet take part in a brand of swaying on a daily basis. No offence But I just can't take that/your opinions on the subject seriously.
Guy makes thread stating his opponent might have went over the line count *stop swaying*
10 minutes later you and 6 and your other crew mates are on 1 of ya owns battle syping shit like "Bullyswag" "Murda" . I can't take that seriously lol. How can anyone?

It's somewhat a good and bad thing. Some may look at the comments and be like "ok, this guy obviously won, everyone's rooting for this person/crew so I'll go ahead and vote cause I'm too lazy to read the battle" but what if both competitors are in crews and both crews are commenting? Idk I think it's something we can't do anything about right now.

Not necessarily a good thing. Just something that happens on the side that we some people don't look at as swaying but complain about swaying comments like "this person won". It's.. Idk haha just wanted to add my part

You're probably right. It's been happening/allowed for so long it's beyond repair. It just sticks out to me like a sore thumb when you have so many people hopping on this fair voting/fair play bandwaggon ect but yet they're taking part in something which goes totally against that like it's all good. I just don't get it. It's not how my brains wired.

Maybe we should tell football stadiums to stop rooting for the home team. It's making the quarterback on the other team nervous in the pocket. Come on man, it's crew spirit. I could see where you're coming from w/ the ''Murda''.. Maybe a hastag before you rep your crew to distinguish? Something like @ Lockhart does. I don't know, but I just think this would cause an unnecessary commotion.

I see what you saying Just C but there's alot of other shit that sways a battle to. Like the users (ranking & title belts). Overall I don't feel like its bad, It hypes the battle up for one & brings a crew closer.

But fans are hypocrites. They only want fair play when it benefits their team. If their team can cheat a win. They'll gladly take it. It harks back to the hypocrisy I was talking about earlier.
Also your analogy doesn't work anyway for so many reasons. chief amongst them players get payed to play and know to expect that kind of fan input as part and parcel. What I'm talking about isn't to be expected. were the only site in god knows how many who allows this.
...
And yes titles and ranks can sway @ CakedOut. I'd be naive to say otherwise.
I'd be all for all that stuff to not show on battles. But thats just my own personal opinion.

I agree...One crew has 50 members and the other has 25 so when you open the battle all you see is that one crew...I agree with Jason too cuz "Classick" just adapted into the site naturally and didnt sway any voters in my opinion...But I def. see what your saying brah!
