GC Round 4 Predictions

WINNERS:-

1- Victor - while ambitious has more punches, I think Victors overall pen game is better, kids tend to vote for punches, but half the time they have no relevance and are random, i think victor is better overall, now if ambitious takes it a diff route, adding flow,multis, punches, then it could easily go the other way.
2- Stricc- LOD, lockhart is good, but stricc underrated in this tourney, if stricc brings more multis mixed with the concepts he has, he could win the whole thing, not much filler in his verses. Has to come alot harder than he has tho
3- Revan-never heard of ET the refugee, but revan has enuff punches to win
4- Illokwent- Honestly, Illo is the best overall battler in this tourney, he has all the fundamentals, multis, punch,punch, readability, concepts, noone in this tourney is on ILLO level, shame the voters arnt educated enuff to see it, kid is a vet in this shit, I see him takin this but it will be close, diss is no slouch, i just think Illo will have the better overall verse,

Its Not a BATTLE unless there's PUNCHES right? I respect your opinion though. But as far as MINE go? Everything is relevant homie....Thats one thing that I DO for sure if anything is have the greatest build-ups that relate to the ending...I ALWAYS make sure to do so.... But I see what you mean as all around...I dont spend 24 hours on one verse. Usually no more than 30 minutes.. if that. Depending on who I'm battling and how many lines. But now that the tourney rounds are closing in?... haha...Plus Im taking this whole thing...

Yeah if you actually put time into the verse, I think you can take it, theres a way to have punches, n everything else if you feel me, it aint hard to write a verse with just punches,nahmean

No doubt...Thats how a tourney plays out though fa sho...Goes from a speed bag to a punching bag in 3 rounds...Gotta have educated voters too...The concepts behind the non-punches that still relate to punches and everything else that goes with it...Some just cant catch on...The thing is...some people see Non-Punches as filler which in some cases is true but usually heavyweights create an even better overall verse by using all aspects of writing instead of just punches...

exactly bro, cats have tried to get around the fact that multis, relevance, readability, all come into play when being a great mc, I dont consider anyone that just does punches to be great, if you look at any of the all time best on this site, they have mastered every element. Real talk, daddio, reefer, illimit, Unknown artist,Jason, you aint great if you cant do the punch punch style n still make everything rhyme imo, not in text, cats try to compensate for their lack of multis with punches, but it takes a great writer to be able to do it all n still have a punch that punch punch style without it being forced anyone can write a verse with all punches, but not everyone can make a relevant verse with sick multis and readability with mad punches too.

Truth. I mean most of us are guilty of doing so. Someone of our skill shouldn't have to go in a battle thinking "I have to write as many punches as possible" due to the voting system. But I do see verses with punch after punch that make up for other aspects at times. Has to be straight dope though. I mean there's several that have the capability to write a verse like that. The thing that absolutely throws me off is when you read a battle and its like reading "Chapter 10 of College Chemistry"...I mean some people aint fluent enough for "Urban Language"...lmao....I can't stand seeing metaphors that sound like something out of a science book though...
