Beez, did you read the quote in the OP? Theres the counter argument to who cares if you aren't doing anything wrong. And you're an idiot. These rights weren't given to us, we are born with them as stated in the constitution, our certain inalienable rights.
And the people that have access to this info are just human, like you or me. And they are potentially corrupt-able. If I had access to anything ever put on an I-phone, and I had a slow day at the office, I might be tempted to start peeking around, maybe checking out some pictures, JO'ing in the office to those nudes you took of your chick.

NOTHING you say to your friend is anything of notice to them. The shit they see on a daily basis makes any sort of sordid conversation seem normal. Besides that, how many people are in America? Unless you're a threat to national security, you wont even pop up on their radar.
I think films can give you a bit of perspective. In Shooter, the government think Mark Wahlberg is the guy who tried to assassinate the president. He googles the exact dimensions of the sniper rifle, and it hits their radar. Had he actually been the guy, I think checking out a conversation on MSN every now and again isn't too bad in comparison to letting someone assassinate the president.

If its not a big deal then why did the government keep it a secret since 07? Why did the guy who blew the whistle on him go to Hong Kong seeking amnesty, and why is he now missing?
I don't want all of my conversations, purchases, and internet activity recorded and archived forever. I feel its a violation of my rights, and more importantly I feel like it's another step towards totalitarian control.

Not only that, but the fact that the companies I pay for services are giving the government access to all my phone calls and internet activity without my knowledge or consent is upsetting at best.

First Of All You Guys Aren't Famous Or Influential Enough For The Goverment To Give A Fuck About. Secondly, There Are Literally Billions Of Pictures Uploaded Each Day (Willingly I Might Add, To FaceBook, Flikr, Myspace, Geocities, Photobucket, Imageshack, Instagram, Twitter, etc.) But If You Honestly Think They Actually Hire People To Go Through The Zetabytes Of Data Of Personal Pictures You've Gotta Be Insane.
Lastly, If You Don't Like How A Company Is Doing Business STOP PAYING THEM, STOP USING THEIR TECHNOLOGY, STOP POSTING PICTURES UP, STOP TAKING PICTURES WITH THEIR PHONES, STOP BUYING FROM THEIR STORES AND STOP FEEDING THE BEAST.

when the Xbox One was announced and everybody was like "what a stupid ass name, the third xbox is called one"
X-Box One
XB One
XBone
Crossbone
that wasn't a mistake..these people spend money on marketing and product placement and w/e so every move down to the name is planned...yeah it can be called "One" because its an all in 1 device..So?..You could've still called it the 720, or Xbox 3, or even just Xbox...XBONE...Crossbones as we all know are symbolic of death..chosen purposely because this is the end of our view of freedom as we know it. they want everybody to be conditioned by these things watching them. they wanna make it a fun experience. It's the end of the old world that we were living in and this is a push by the powerful players involved to sort of "kill" freedom & privacy as we know it and bring life to this new age of surveillance and agendas that have been rolling out on us ever-so-slowly for the past god knows how many years..20+
and it came out last week that Microsoft was a big player in that whole NSA joint. Xbox One will not be sold in Asia til the end of 2014 (almost 2015)...why? Because this was made to spy on people by the global elite, which of course mingle and mix in the U.S. & Europe
makes sense that Microsoft would have to rebuild different Kinects and remove the spying capabilities because China would try to fuck us up. they're not stupid

A German girl who came to the U.S to work as an au pair was stopped and questioned when she landed at the airport. She was deported back to Germany because the government caught wind of her plan to be an au pair (a violation of her visa) from information gathered from her internet activity.
Yes she was doing something wrong, but she was caught and deported because of a program that is supposedly in place to protect us from terrorist attacks. Not to stop young foreign girls from babysitting.

Here is the 4th Amendment of the Constitution:
"The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized."

@ pULSe, I see what you mean..
Playstation 4
Playstation is the former name of a ride in Blackpool, now named Tango Ice Blast.
4's look a bit like a sailboat.
Tango's colours are orange and black.
Sailboats are notorious amongst pirates.
Orange and Black are the colours of Shakhtar Donetsk's strip, a Ukrainian football team.
Piracy is another name for the illegal DVD, video games etc. market.
Viktor Yanukovych is the current President of Ukraine.
Pirate websites were directly effected by the SOPA act.
Paul J. Manafort is the adviser of Yanukvoych, and was the coordinator for former US President Ronald Reagan.
SOPA is believed to have been arranged by the Illuminati to control to internet.
IT ALL MAKES SENSE! OPEN YOUR FUCKING EYES PEOPLE!

pretty lame argument
circumstantial evidence is not admissible in court
and thats all youll ever get in the scenario you just described
still never amazes me that people are so narcissistic to assume that anyone cares about what theyre doing.
no one cares about your internet activity .. i promise
