The timing of this uproar was horrible, I agree with Just C. If people felt this deeply about the sight falling off it should have been voiced just as aggressively before this event. Doing it while the event is failing is a double slap to the face for the promoter of the event who is trying to help the site and the owner of the site.

Maybe yall should shut the fuck up and bitch when they are not trying to do anything at all.

I will never look at an event as a fail.. HVK put in a lot of work to throw this together.. Maybe the outcome wasnt the best but thats okay.. no one is out anything.. it was just an attempt by staff to help promote LB.. If anything we should promote this event every friday and see what happens.. Stop the bitching... enjoy life a little bit more.. @HVK holla at me kid

@Just C @Jason It makes sense that mods would defend the site on a day like this. But instead of your redundant rhetoric lets look at the facts

- Record Day failed
- LB, compared to where it was a few years ago, is failing
- User activity has hit an all time low in both battles and forums.

Instead of doing what a typical moderator does..which is defending the site because the admins privileged ya'll with administrative abilities, you guys need to look at it through a regular community member's eyes.

@EtH and I have spent more years on this bitch than most of ya'll have, and when community members constantly ask for innovation its because we know what the site is capable of and what it used to be. That "If you don't like it then gtfo" attitude doesn't help the situation at all, and that's definitely no way to address members that have a great deal of appreciation for what the site is, what it used to be, and what it can become. I'm sure a lot of us are willing to put money into paid memberships and even into the site if the powers in charge decide to move on it. But this site's had the exact same look & set of features for 6-7 years. You can only sell a blind man a dead fish for so long before he reaches into the tank and finds it to be lifeless.

You say some really dumb shit sometimes. Show me 1 post where I defended the site. And I AM a regular member. I been a regular member from 07 up until me getting mod a year or 2 back. I don't care if your a mod or a member, if I think ur talking out of your ass I say it, If I think something isn't right I'll say how I feel.


And like Benson said in another thread. we didn't have half the shit we do now when I was a "mere member" and I never complained once. A site is what YOU make it. Though I don't agree with some of the shit he does, at the end of the day X/Pugz HAVE given you a functioning site to work with and make something of it as a community, me included.

Crews battles need fixing (But you can have crew battles regardless, w.e the hell you want if u just organise them, Illmania)

Cyphers do need fixing

Everything else is there and you seem to be forgetting there are sites everywhere of this kind that don't have the shit we do and they don't complain half as much as we do, ya'll spoiled to be perfectly honest as far as how the site functions.

L.B will never explode. every rap board bar Rap Music is dying or has similar or lower activity, Rap/text battling is now at the tail end. unless another 8 mile comes out to get kids all giddy again (the first film started the initial boom) shits gonna be the same.

And I agree with Jason to a degree if you're not paying stop complaining, ESPECIALLY about the proposed V4. though I disagree slightly because X and Pugz dangling the carrot only to pull it a way isn't helping. half a dozen of 1 6 of the other.
