Computer advice
Thinking of getting a new computer, do you guys know of any good ones? One for messing around with music or they all the same like that? Also how about games I seen some of you talk about the computer games alot so which ones the best for them aswell? I wanna get something kinda good not just a normal computer but I don't know what the difference is between a good computer and a shit one.

what is it that you want? Desktop or laptop?
usually i7 is the best and anything with over 2.4ghz is relatively fast. Plus the bigger the memory (and i'm not talking about hard drive), is better i.e. if its 4gb, but if you upgrade to 128gb
shit would fly
Otherwise get any computer that has a big dick

Don't ever buy a premade computer. You'll get better running cheaper equipment if you buy the computer piece by piece then assemble it yourself, I did that with mine & saved about 600 on my top of the line gaming PC I created.

Mac's are the best imo for music production / graphic design & video editing.
PC's are the best for serious gamers.
Everyday people who do a bit of gaming on the side usually get a pc because it's the cheapest option. Whatever you decide though, don't get an HP or Compaq both of those models are shit. Acer's aren't the best option either.
Learn to build your own computer and you'll actually save money while getting a faster computer both online and offline with more memory and more features.
Chromebooks are also a good option if you just want to get online and don't really download things but you can also attach an external drive to them.

^Make sure you put windows on that SSD before you do ANYTHING else. If you don't, you'll have to reformat windows and lose all your information. (unless you have a backup)

Tell me about. I've an Acer and soon as i got it, it crashed, brought it back and waited a month and a half to get it fixed. then few months later it crashed again. Now i've to put a piece of folded up paper (folded 8 times) in between the gap of the screen and the keyboard bottom left to ensure that the fucking screen works. If not, from the bottom left the screen goes white and spreads all over the screen. Can't move the fucking screen either.
Can only put it on sleep. If i turn it off, it won't come back on unless i go into the system settings by pressing f2 before it gets a chance to turn off.
Long story short. Acer's are shit.

Building it from scratch is your best bet. For one thing you're saving money PLUS you'll be able to use it longer. If you think "oh I don't need that much memory" or "oh I don't need an insane processor" trust me, get it and in the long run it'll pay off (Plus again, you'll be saving money) cause computers depreciate quicker then anything in the world. Maybe phones are faster but that's about it.
YouTube it, sure there's a million videos on how to do it.
