I think the way shit is set up is just corny... way too many text battles

shit was made for AC cornballs to excel and for Murda Muzik to have somewhat of a fair shot cuz ya'll know LoD dominates roster wise

if anything there should only be 1 text battle and the focus of Illmania should be on audio/live chat battles... @RULE the text shit is nostalgic n cute and all...but the point is Hip-Hop is an art..a progressive one. you're supposed to move forward. the emphasis on text is a step back for a lot of us

I actually think every battle should be a competition to see "Who can be the most like Pulse". Pulse should represent LoD in every battle. Hell, Pulse should do all the battles for ACs and MM too. PULSEMANIA 4: Pulse Vs Pulse Vs Pulse. I reckon Pulse would win cause Pulse has been on form while Pulse hasn't been as consistent.

This site has always had a Huge Love for text dat shit been like dat since 2006 nothing new here We still got a Track Battle and Audio Battles Video too so Its still a lil well rounded

PLUS LoD rejected a challenge from ACs for a 4 text, 4 audio, 1 video and 1 topical.

What Mani said. LOD has some dope text heads in Erupt & Man Down hell even F Word can text although he's preference lately lies on the audio section.

I do feel that a tag battle was unnecessary and does make illmania more focused on text, but, 70% of LBs active users are text heads so we gotta make this tourney appealing to the majority, give more people an opportunity to participate and shit.

I would add a 2v2 diss track battle as well to balance shit out but that would require huge ass rosters from the participating crews.

There is oly, what, 2 additional text battles? Being tag team, and topical? Would you like for an audio topical to be utilized as well? There's really no way to include an audio tag battle. Unless you did it in the tc.

this is just an unbiased opinion as text battles clearly dominate the tournament and it caters to any crew that has a shitload of texters to pick from.

& @Jack Herer you can't do tag team in audio but maybe if ya'll fixed crew battles...

You could say track battles/video battles by default are audio but they also bring an entirely different aspect to the game...they're definitely more progressive as far as the art goes. whereas text is so 2006 like someone said earlier lmao
