No, that was Juan Manuel Marquez @ Noble.
Saul Alvarez is the dude who was knocking out 27 year olds when he was 15. His record is INSANE for a 23 year old. I believe it's like 45-0 or something. Mayweather is coming in at I think 43-0. Amazing fight. A lot of people are giving Mayweather stick, saying that he only took the fight because the Ghost fight did such horrible numbers, but I for the first time ever have respect for Mayweather. He's fighting a kid like 13 years younger than him, bigger than him, stronger than him, and unlike Cotto/Hatton/Mosley/Ortiz etc., Alvarez will box Mayweather and not just go in swinging. He's not a puncher like those guys, he's a boxer puncher, and that's a big difference.
Mayweather HAS to be the clear favourite none the less. Mayweather has proven himself against a level that Alvarez has not. DYING for Canelo to take this one though.
I don't know too much about Mattyse tbh. I think he should take it as Danny Garcia imo is very unimpressive.

Unlike many Mayweather opponents, Alvarez has hand speed. That could really even up the fight.

Cause man, it's tough to keep the fam in touch,
And to add it up, this rappin stuff got me flippin out like a blackjack bust
Don't give a fuck if you sound like Master P, Mobb Deep or Remy Martin,
Cuz even if the next to try us is the best of rhymers?
Still get bodied on plates like Jeffery Dahmer

Great analysis @ EtH but I already knew you knew your Boxing. However, I disagree with you on the less powerful part, I think ur underestimating Canelo Alvarez's power. Son is a beast, he fights at 154lbs, walks around at 170-175lbs. Mayweather is coming UP in weight for this fight, 147lbs to a catch weight 152lbs. I've been an Alvarez fan since he was 18, I KNEW he'd be a star one day. But is he ready? I dunno...
If Floyd tries to put on a show, prove something vs. Canelo early & gets hit with something flush. He could drop. But how often does Mayweather get hit flush? Hardly ever. That's where I think that "Boxer/Puncher" comes into play. Cuz Canelo can jab with Floyd, score points in close/slow rounds. I have a feeling Floyd is gonna show out early, buy himself a few rounds running & do just enough on the outside to get the Win. Alvarez has noooooo chance on the cards. It's KO or bust for the red-headed Mexican, Lol...
I'll tell you this though. I just checked the betting odds I like on that night:
Mayweather: $100 for $65 (las fight was $100 for $32)
Mayweather by KO: $100 for 440
Alvarez: $100 for $550
Alvarez by KO: $100 for $380
DRAW is: $100 for $1600 !!!!
Smart money is on Mayweather by Decision... For daredevils like myself, I might take Alvarez by KO, not for $100 though... I just really like Canelo's repertoire: Jab is solid, his hook are so crisp, he beat Trout (who fight 160 lbs) with a meeeeeean body shot. The most I've seen Mayweather get hit was vs. Cotto. Alvarez is a young, stronger, more skilled Cotto. Btw, Austin Trout beat Cotto while Alvarez made light work of Trout. But those 16 to 1 odds on a DRAW though? That looks tasty. I'm definitely putting atleast $20 on that for shits & giggles.
Garcia vs. Mattesye is gonna be a greeeeeeeat fucking fight too. This might even end up the better fight out of the two because neither of these guys are Running. They r gonna be trading blows in the middle of the ring. Shot for shot. Mattesye has the edge in power, Garcia is the better boxer/crisper puncher. I like Garcia by DECISION... This is gonna be an EPIC PPV card.

ELOH, I meant he's not JUST a puncher. He def has some power, specifically in his body shots.
I've been watching Canelo since he fought Cotto's little brother, ironically on a Mayweather undercard.

Canelo Alvarez is really good ( could be a legend ), but i feel like the kid is going too fast... Hes going to ruin his career like that. I mean he only has 3 professional figths and he already wants to go against the undefeated champion.
But it would be nice if he knocked him out.
