It should be people's choice if they use ghost writers. This site is competitive by nature but you could argue the music industry itself is competitive & they utilize ghost writers all the time.

And music industry rappers have a lot more to gain/lose from using a ghost writer than a W or an L in their LetsBeef battle record

To me that's what makes it's all the more pointless/redundant/lame as hell. Commercial artists have money to gain from making music so having a GW is perfectly understandable, it's business. on here the only thing you have to gain by battling is the challenge you get to help your self improve as a creative writer...And that's it.... You take that away by having a GW then there is no point in you being here at all because all you're doing is wasting everyone's time, including your own.

Don't forget that a commercial rap artist can have a GW, but he still has to perform the shit. What thought process or talent falls on a texter with a GW?..... he has to copy and paste it into a box and hit enter?.... lol nah.

I understand if people ghostwrite for real life atrists. There out to make money in whatever way possible.. ALOT, and i mean ALOT of mainstream artists produce shit songs 99.9% of the time, which is why i haven't listened to the radio in my car or checked out a music channel in about 2 years...

In terms of people GW on here...Whats the fucking point? lol...You get a W using somebody elses material? How much of a low life do you have to be to go down that road? haha...

Royce himself has admitted that he uses eminem to help him write a verse before he records it. Does that mean he struggles or he ain't an artist? When money is involved more people can come together and write a verse that's gonna bring more money in.

Helping someone write a verse doesn't necessarily mean they wrote it though, could be a simple exchange of ideas/advice. Even in L.B/text battle terms that's perfectly fine to me, people do it all the time.

i dont think it's only ideas personally...royce can come up to a point on the verse and then em jumps in and says u can write a line like this *says line and royce copies down*..In rap artists help artists to produce the best outcome they can *from what i've understood from interviews at least*
