Sometimes your level of reading comprehension surprises me, and i find myself asking if its worth explaining anything to you, because you know we're not gonna see eye to eye.
I'm not relating any mainstream artists career to battle rap. I'm not voting on mumbo jumbo shit that dont make sense (though some may say it does). Nobody is gonna tell you what hip-hop is, and I myself have my own view on what is battle rap. I vote based on alot of shit, but at the end of the day its how it sounds. If you choke on your 4th bar reading the tightest shit ever wrote then what good is it?

You didnt say tracks though... And any way supernat battled live on beats...open mic nights have been out way before this internet text battling shit...And I'm pretty sure KRS and shan have BATTLED LIVE (ON BEAT) = NO TRACK too
Mc's used to battle at block part's on beats...and cypher with nothing but a radio and their voices..I'm sorry, but you're WAAAAAY off on this 1
