the sites themselves died bc bills werent paid...another person taking my words out of context...i said the aspect of the site was flourishing

and here the reason why....ppl here expect things...votes, feedback, ect...and very rarely do they give it back - unless they need something in return...on other sites, they have systems in place...in order to post (lets just say) a track, you needed to provide detailed feedback on atleast 2 other projects, and post the links as evidence...that keeps the circulation going - and at the same time, keeps the members up-to-date...of course there will be flaws, but its a system that ive seen work...dont try to reinvent the wheel, just make it better

RIA is still up as a rebirth of RB They have more members than us but its dead. NC is still up and other than the disc forum, it's dead. UPN is still up and that's a graveyard for trolls. BBE went down but it's now back as LT. That's dead in comparison to here. Plus more.

youre going off course...weve established that LB is where its at, no ones debating

im trying to help improve the experience and expand...comparing the activity to other sites that dont match up with LB is pointless

yes they do and yes they are flawed. That's why half their tourneys suffer DQ's from no voting and general lack of voting causing them to stay open for votes weeks longer than they should. It's a nice idea in theory but a horrible 1 in practice that's why we do aight. We don't Nazi people to vote. We get more track and battle attention because of it.

you know just like i do that flaws that will come from it (and can probably pinpoint them), but how much worse can it get than giving someone a 10 just so they give it back...i saw @Felon giving out bullshit comments left and right, called him out about it, and everyone instantly jumped to his defense.."theyre comment wars!!! youve never seen one before?!?!" basically thats yall bitching back and forth...congrats, thats where were at

People will literally complain about anything, then they get offered what they want and don't take it. For example everybody wanted a buy in competition to win real prizes or money, that died soon as it was offered to them. You lot would complain water was too wet if you had the chance. The majority of the people on this site are on it for free, the site doesn't make a hell of a lot of money so how would it afford REAL advertising? People HATE being spammed on twitter and other social networks. A whole new strategy needs to be thought up. Tbh LB should sponsor some live battlers I shout out LB on their battles. Try get in touch with Conceited, sponsor Real Talk at his KOTD debut, Two-Can from Dont Flop, Barmageddon and other UK leagues has just joined, any of their advertising funds they do have (which I would imagine is minimal) should be used on that. People won't be watching it on YouTube or whatever if they aren't really fans.

The problem with social networking, is NETWORKING, breaking into new networks or markets isn't as easy as its believed to be by social networking.
