Crew Battles
I was thinking that once the crew battles and ranking systems get fully underway, a format similar to professional fighting would be a great way to keep the competition competitive.
Format...
A crew would hold the title as "text crew champions" or "audio crew champions" (labeling can be worked out however) and only the crew in the #2 position is able to challenge that crew for the title and #1 ranking.
The only way to move up in the rankings is to win battles against crews better rated than yours. But like fighting, you can't battle a crew way above your rank. (The #10 rated crew couldn't battle the #3 ... and the number #3 can't advance their ranking by battling crews weaker) .... This would keep the battles competitive and interesting.
Crews can decline battles, except for the #1 ranked crew. When the #2 ranked crew challenges them, they must accept.

Since I've been active in 2008, I've never seen a successful crew battle happen, nor the rankings actually work. I feel this would add another element to the site and make it more competitive all around, not just in the crew sections....
Just some thoughts.
