INTRO
We are hosting this tournament in order to determine the first 12 inductees into the upcoming 'Star League." League members will enjoy unique access to their own forum as well as other benefits that come with being in their own user group.
Once this tournament is over, the only way other members may join the League is by battling and out-ranking League members. Out of all 16 participants, only the bottom 4 won't make it to the League. Bottom 4 will be be determined from the
8 who are eliminated in Round 1. Out of those 8, we will first look at who no-showed (if any), and then who scored the lowest percentage of votes against their opponents. Everyone who makes it past ROUND 1 will definitely be in the League, however, subsequent rounds will help determine the rank score of each member and ultimately, the first League Champion.
There are no prizes in this tournament other than a spot in the League, but the finalist will receive the "All Star" plaque user title to carry for one month or until he is defeated in a championship match. Throughout all battles, battlers will receive their rank scores which will be determined by factoring the rank score of their opponent, whether they won or lost and calculating it with formulas to determine their approximate strength. The longer you are in the League, the more accurate you score will become. Ranks will also be based on scores, so the person with the highest score will be the top ranked.
