I don't want to speak too much on the process by which applicants will be selected, but I've already outlined most of it in the staff forum so you can check that thread. Suffice it to say that I am not accepting anyone who has had their vp lowered recently (within the last 2 months) or recieved any recent infractions for anything (I will be monitoring the staff logs to make certain of that). It ain't like you're gonna cast a shitty vote on someone's battle just yesterday and expect to come get your vp raised today. This is geared specifically towards people who may have had vp lowered a from a while back, but have been trying to cast better votes even prior to this tourney. I'm pretty sure every member of staff has seen a decent well explained vote from someone who had a lowered vp that they may have gotten from when they first came on the site and didn't know how to vote properly. There are cats with lowered vp who try to vote as well as they can NOW, so I don't think them coming forth to apply for this is necessarily "showing their true colors." I don't think many people, after knowing they've been given a second chance, will turn around and go back to shitty voting. This tourney is going to be informative for everyone, whether they are a shitty voter or not. Cause once the mods and judges explain the difference in the quality of two votes and expos, a lot will be brought to light as to how people see things.
