Ive written a few threads teaching the basics of text battling, all of which are linked here that you can use to capture the simple skills needed to become a strong textcee.

The threads will cover all the individual elements that make up a text verse, and will marked in three stages: Basic, Medium & Expert.

Please remember that these threads will show you how to do the fundamentals of text battling, but should not be treated as a blueprint. Unique styles and execution is what separates the best from the good.
