Most overrated rapper ever?
For my money it's gotta be Eazy-E... 90 percent of his dopest verses were written by Ice Cube. The rest.....were pretty much ass. dude's look at him as some sort of gangster rap god when he was the Sid Vicious of hip hop. A caricature of a lifestyle, that didn't even really have much to do with the music that made them famous. What's your two pennies?

Eazy E was definitely over rated. All dead rappers are to be honest. Big and Pac are also perfect examples of over rated emcees. Eminem is over rated because he's white. Lil Wayne is disgustingly over rated, don't get me wrong he has punchlines and shit, but most the shit he talkin bout can't be true. The guy started rapping at like 12 yrs old, waaaay too young to fully understand the ways of the streets IMO. Kanye West is over rated, he be talking bout dumb shit, yet has millions of fans. I have heard a few dope tracks by Kanyeezy but most of them show his intelligence level. LOL

man i co-sign to this like a mug, although i feel that biggie was a great emcee with a great vocabulary and flow he's the only one i disagree with but dude you speaking the truth, much respect i wish i could thumbs up this comment

I'd go with Easy E. I'm also going to stick my kneck out here and say Biggie.
You could say Pac was overrated. but only a little. He was very powerful and lyricly insperational during his time .

Biggie and Pac have earned their spots as classics.... I wouldn't call either the GOAT. Biggie had all the swag in the world. He could say dumb shit and make it sound good, but he did say a lot of dumb shit. Pac is mad overrated but he had a shitload of great songs too... his passion was undeniable. Both slightly overrated...but both still great. Wayne and kanye...at least they write their own shit.... bad as it may be.
