Audio Mentors Wanted

Alright, this whole project idea has been bumping around in my head for a while now and it came out in a thread when hulKK was bitching about the text cats writing shit that couldn't possibly be spit verbally on audio.

I'm sure most of you agree with him, and even I admit, some of those bars are way off point. The thing is, I want to have a bunch of text cats jump over to audio and learn what the whole audio thing is so it reflects in their writing.

If anything, it'll give you some guys to snipe and a gem or two might emerge to keep this shit going.

Here's basically what I'm proposing: I need a few Audio cats to agree to help someone out for a set time as a mentor in this exchange program. Someone signs up to do this, I'll send them to one of you guys, you step them through a few battles and cyphers and give feedback to show them were they fuck up and did good. Afterwards, send them back, pass them around like fish, I don't really care, as long as they get the idea of what goes on on your side of the game.

I'm thinking a stretch of 5 battles (open acap, open beat, reply open,reply personal, send personal) and 2 solo drops (one acap, one beat)

After that, they should know whether they like audio or not, and will also understand the concept of writing for the ear, over writing for the eye. Hopefully it'll step peoples games up and may get some fresh people over here. I'm also open to having it go the other way if Audio cats wanted to see the text side a bit.

hulKK said he'd mentor on this idea. I'm just looking to gather other people up to share their knowledge/experience and write up the whole thing to get it going.

Appreciate the read. I know both sides rarely have contact w each other. I'm trying to bridge that gap some.

Besides , Txt is harder imo ..If u got bars .. All u need is that mic presence n delivery which u acquire over time .. I'm amateur myself but progressing decent like . I'm switchin over to text here soon to improve my writing .. So vica versa if a text cat help me I'll help em
