Questions.... questions in my head...

What LB generation was the best??... what GC was the most talent packed??.. what would these 1st generation emcees do to these new catts if they was still around??.. Would the young catts show the old heads that they made a good choice by sitting the fuck down??? Do the old heads still got it???

IMO best GC is Erupt.

The new emcees are, on average, leagues above the old ones. However, the few very best of the old heads still surpass the current strongest hitters - although that probably won't be true for very long, and not everyone would agree with that statement. Those old heads had more pure talent, but their technique wasn't as developed/solidified. If they had started more recently, and had modern style/competitors to learn from, they would probably be unbeatable super-heavyweights.

In those days, when more people did online rap battling, the bigger population-base meant we had a better chance of getting talented people. Now, it's easier to become "good" (middleweight), and just about anyone who gives a shit can, but we don't have enough battlers to give us a good few people with the kind of innate skill you need to become a legend.
