Many artists ask themselves that question? how do you make a hit song? well, all you have to do is listen to you surroundings! What is poppin in your life? What do your emotions really tap? What do you really feel? Most writer's block comes from not expressing what's really in your heart!
It all starts with the hook. The best hooks come from your head not off of paper. So, If you have a catchy hook, then get you a good beat that matches the song. Most artists don't know how to pick beats and just because they are hot tracks, don't mean they are for your song. Make sure that you remember the hook before you write the verses.
