anyone good with cars?

i could probably google this but i figured id post it up here incase someone already knows and can answer my questions directly

so i drive a manual
and i noticed that when im in 3 .. if i accelerate past 3 r/min and take my foot off the gas there is a brief moment somewhere between 2-3 r/min where i can put it in 4 without using the clutch at all.

this only seems to work in gear 3 when going to gear 4

does anyone have a legit explanation why this is possible?
also if the r/min is below 2 then you cant do this .. its gotta be above 3r/min and as its declining you can slip it in to 4 without the use of the clutch

apparently you can do it with all the gears except when youre at a dead stop obviously

i dunno why you ever would tho ... anyway this is interesting info for anyone driving a standard incase for some reason your clutch goes out lol

what year fam?....I couldn't do that shit...but I used to have an 87 Civic lol

mines an 07 civic .. apparently you can only do it on cars with smooth transition .. so i doubt the 87 civic could pull it off loll

its a delicate thing to do .. too much push into gear too soon and your gears are grinding .. same with not enough push .. it pulls it in and grinds

its pretty pointless to do this anyway ... its just a risk for gear grinding and doesnt have any real benefit .. i just noticed it when i was fuckin around the other day trying to do learn some stuff bout the car

literally the only scenario i can see this ever being useful is if youre going like 30k and your clutch gives out and you want to keep moving .. but the first time you have to stop your car youre going to be stuck so its literally almost entirely pointless
