I get what you are saying..but like back in the day it was a point of pride to be able to scheme for several lines. Now I see guys going fucking one and done on a rhyme. In my mind only using a multi for one line is a negative, and fucks up the verse. I never usually use a scheme for less than two punches. But I'm from a different school of thought.

Like, if I do an eight. Unless i'm just bullshitting it, I try to use one scheme the whole verse.
