Eating/Killing Cats and Dogs

How many people think it is actually wrong to eat cats and dogs. What about eating cows and pigs. They are both living creatures. Yet we see it wrong to eat cats and dogs because. What reason? Pets? I know people that have pet pigs and eat pork and chicken. Intelligence? Can't be. Pigs are smarter than dogs. In countries such as Korea it is a common delicacy.

What about michael vick? How many of you criticized him for what he did. He grew up in that environment, so to him it wasn't that big of a deal. We grew up slaughtering other animals, chopping them up, and devouring them in our every day meals. We ship them hundreds at a time in crates they can't see or move and many get sick and die. So is what michael vick really worse than what happens in our everyday culture or did our culture just make this view as to what we should believe.

I understand that. People grow on their pets, but what about wild dogs. Or if they breeded these animals also to eat. What would be so wrong with that. I'm not saying I eat them or want to. I am just putting this into perspective on what's so wrong about it. We follow the beliefs of our culture but what is right and wrong.

Anyways, I didnt read, but I'm sure it's the same as how I feel. Those animals arent domesticated in those places. They are bred to be food, just like how we breed pigs and cows etc. Just because they are pets to us, doesent mean that they are pets to them. The indians think we are sickos for eating beef, despite the fact that their local river is the liquidated form of Dosage's swag. Those animals if bred correctly, are no different from the animals we eat.

you need to read Farm Sanctuary - that shit youre talking about with the crates is spot on, and it gets worse...they inject these animals with chemicals to make them grow faster and larger - 100% unnatural (we eat this shit too)...these animals get too top-heavy and end up breaking their own legs trying to support the weight, yet are still forced to walk from transporter to transporter...chickens are electricuted to paralyze them before they are dipped and de-feathered...its safe to say we knowingly torture animals in this country, without doing shit about it...yet mike vick gets two years...but i was thinking about this the other day, weird...like you said, all comes down to how youre brought up and how you view the animal

Shits brutal. I'm not saying I'm not, but majority of the people on earth are hypocritical. We all criticize things other people do, yet in some way or form, we have done many of these things also.
