Soulja Boy and Young Jeezy
 

I'm not taking a stand (yet) but I want to know why most people (as far as I've read/heard) on here do not like Soulja Boy or Young Jeezy? I've listened to both and like any other artist obviously some of their music is shit, but they get seriously beat down on this site haha. I'm looking for actual reasons, not just like "cause they suck a dick" haha.

I hear that - they (especially Soulja) aren't gangsta and I agree that I don't like that. Just for arguments sake has anyone heard "turn my swagga on" or ESPECIALLY "2 milli" by Soulja Boy? I can name a buncha shit songs but those two songs I think are fuckin nice.

Maybe I'm naive but I do believe SOME of todays artists have criminal pasts, and yeah it really doesnt matter I just think Soulja may be a bit underated (especially considering his new album "the deandre way" shit I heard on youtube). peace. I personally own all of soujas albums and jeezy's albums

honestly the reason I don't really like them is cause there music and overall topics there rapping on doesn't really appeal to me thats just me though never really been a big fan of the south except for a select few anywayz but I like more complex flows

jeezy by far... not that far actually.. i hate them both a lot... a big problem i have with both is that EVERY track sounds identically retarded... soulja with .... everything he does, thats walks, talks, thinks... he's 100% wack beyond imagination... and jeezy just blurts out bullshit noises and whatnot... both horrible tho imo
